Karen founded Citywealth after a career at News International, The Times, and Sunday Times in the legal, financial and recruitment sections. She also ran the Legalease flagship title Legal Business/Asia Pacific Legal 500, and launched Legal Business Awards and Legal 500 parties. Karen then took over In Brief magazine, where she grew the organisation from a buyout where it had gone bankrupt to a successful £500,000-a-year publishing and events business. Her work as a Citywealth CEO was recognised by four New York Stevie Awards: Women helping women (2014, 2015), Innovator of the year (2015), and Entrepreneur of the year (2015).

April is recognized by Onalytica as the #1 "Influencer" in wealth management, and regularly-featured source of expert commentary to international news and business outlets, trade publications, and broadcast media. 

April is the mother of two sons who are quick to point out that they considered her an “influencer” well before Onalytica did.

Zena Couppey

Zena Couppey joined Altum Group (formerly LGL Group) in 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer and in early 2022 took the role of Chief Executive Officer, having responsibility for the strategic leadership of the business and the continued delivery of exceptional quality services to LGL’s clients.

With over 22 years of experience in financial services Zena has held a number of senior roles, most recently as Managing Director of Client Services at SANNE Group plc where she focused on the implementation of processes that increased client growth. Prior to this role Zena held the position of Head of Real Estate where she was well known for developing their real estate offering.

Zena is a member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and recently completed her Institute of Directors Diploma. Zena is also a member of the International Property Forum.

Zena has won Gold at the Citywealth Powerwomen awards for two consecutive years, in 2021 for Inspirational Woman of the Year, and in 2022 for Champion of the Year.

Pedro Dias Ferreira

Pedro is a private wealth advisor, covering ultra high net worth clients and family offices in London and Europe. He focuses on Latin America for international clients, their families and cross jurisdictional needs. Pedro joined Goldman Sachs in 2021 as a managing director.

Prior to joining the firm, Pedro was a senior private banker and head of Brazil at Barclays Private Bank. Before that, he worked for a multi-family office in London and was a management consultant for Deloitte in Lisbon.

Pedro earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Tecnico in Lisbon in 2003 and an MBA from London Business School in 2009.

Bart has unrivalled experience in founding, building and operating global financial businesses delivering trust and corporate services to global clients; he was lead founder, Chairman and CEO of Vistra Group, one of today’s leading and largest international providers of corporate, fiduciary and company formation services.

Bart began his career with Ernst & Young and went onto hold several management positions at MeesPierson, a leading Private Bank and subsidiary of Fortis at the time where he was a member of the worldwide Executive Board, a member of the Fortis Management Council and the CEO of MeesPierson Intertrust.

Bart holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Antwerp and a Master’s degree in Management Accounting from the Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School.

Bart is co-founder of ZEDRA.

Sarah Bartram-Lora Reina

Sarah has over 30 years' experience in the Jersey finance industry, where she has specialised in retail, private and investment banking; as well as trustee and corporate services for ultra-high net worth clients. Sarah enjoys working closely with her clients and intermediaries as part of their wealth management, whether that is a private trust company, property unit trust, family investment company or a managed trust company.

Sarah is a recognised professional in the Jersey finance industry through her roles with the Jersey Association of Trust Companies, for which she has served as President since May 2021. She is an active contributor to various working groups, consultations and publications.

She is in the second term as Chair of the Jersey Charity Tribunal (a role held since February 2018). In 2022, she won Gold in Woman of the Year – Professional Services category at the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2022 and in 2019, was voted as one of Citywealth's top 100 international power women.

Previously, she was also an active committee member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Jersey branch.

Megan Jenkins

Megan provides specialist advice to private clients on pensions and investments, as well as estate and tax planning. She works in partnership with her clients to ensure she fully understands their individual circumstances and aims to build long term relationships to ensure their goals are met both now and in the future.

Megan has particular expertise in supporting business owners, HNW individuals and senior executives with their retirement planning and complex tax arrangements. She also assists clients going through divorce, helping them reach financial settlements that are right for their needs and objectives.

After obtaining a Masters in Banking and Finance, Megan joined Saltus in 2015. Megan attained the highest level of qualification possible when she achieved chartered status and is a member of Resolution.

Anne Baggesen

Anne joined the Group Board of Directors in June 2019, shortly after celebrating fifteen years with the company. Having started out in the trust and corporate services industry with KPMG in 1999, Anne also worked as a Trust Manager for Singer & Friedlander Trust Company for four years before joining Suntera in 2004.

Appointed as Trust Director in 2006, Anne has been instrumental in managing the Group's bespoke, multi-jurisdictional trust and foundation arrangement ever since. In her role as Managing Director of Trusts and Private Wealth, Anne manages an international team of staff who support the establishment and ongoing management of trust structures for private, corporate and institutional clients worldwide.

Vikash Gupta

An entrepreneur and a co-founder of VAR Capital and Monument Bank, Vikash brings a diverse range of knowledge and experience. He is the CEO of VAR Capital, a multi-family office focused on investment management and lending. Prior to that, he spent 7 years at Barclays Wealth in the UK. He’s also held roles at Booz & Company and at Sapient as a technologist.

Vikash is involved in several philanthropic projects, including a previous Board membership of Spirit of 2012, a not-for-profit organisation set up to keep the spirit of the London 2012 Olympic Games alive.

In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his wife and daughter and ride his Harley Davidson as far as he can go.

Gillian Ralston Jordan

Gillian joined JTC at the beginning of 2017 and in her role has responsibility for the management and oversight of a portfolio of high and ultra-high net worth clients and entrepreneurs and the associated administration teams based in Guernsey.

A qualified, practising and experienced Scottish Solicitor, Gillian advises on the successful planning, arrangement and management of complex multi-jurisdictional structures for high net worth and high profile families and for corporate institutions.

Gillian has, in five jurisdictions, occupied a number of senior roles in the finance industry, including appointments as managing director and director of various trust companies.

With 28 years’ industry experience in both private client and corporate disciplines, Jen has extensive experience advising families focusing on solution-oriented outcomes, in particular to the non-dom family office sector.

A high priority for Jen is encouraging significant succession-planning outcomes and integrating next generational wealth for the stewardship of the family wealth. Jen is passionate about promoting philanthropy and the education and participation of female wealth owners.

Jennifer expertly maintains a demanding portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) and family office clients, whilst also building and harnessing a very strong network of business-referring intermediaries.

Jen is part of IQ-EQ’s Wealth Committee and holds the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’ (STEP) certificate in Family Business Advising and recently won Gold for ‘Woman of the Year – Business Growth’ in the 2022 Citywealth Powerwomen Awards.

Kathryn von Matthiessen is a partner in Katten’s Private Wealth practice and a member of the Private Client Services group.
